Ahas Stone and Lapis Choker
This necklace adornment is designed as a choker but can be customized to your desired length. Made with a large serpentine stone, pearl and lapis lazuli beads and a 24k gold plated stainless steel toggle and gold filled materials.
Each adornment has been smoke cleansed with anglem (burned twined cotton cloth) infused with dragon's blood resin in order to release and drive away malevolent spirits or energies.
The serpent's energy is one of rebirth. Many ancients began using serpentine to craft drinking vessels. In ancient Assyria, it is told that this stone was carried to request of the gods and goddess to provide blessings. In China and India it is quite often incorporated into altars, carvings temple decorations, as it is seen as a protective stone that will bring peace. Serpentine was named in 1564 by Georgius Agricola for the Latin term "serpens", "snake", in allusion to the mottled green appearance of the mineral suggesting the resemblance to some snakes.
Serpentinite is formed by near to complete serpentinization of mafic to ultramafic rocks.

Lapis Lazuli is derived from the Latin word “Lapis” meaning stone and the Persian word “lāzaward” meaning sky or heaven. It is a metamorphic rock found in caves rather than mines and has some of the oldest societal uses tracing back ancient Egyptian high trade due to its beauty, but also incredible power. Its deep blue signifies wisdom and higher knowledge.
